Resetting the nervous system and body after a PIP assessment through herbs

A gentle, trauma-informed workshop teaching basic herbal remedies like teas and body oils to help regulate and soothe the nervous system during the PIP application process.

This workshop offers a grounding introduction to Herbal medicine with a focus on supporting the nervous system during a PIP application. Rooted in radical self-care, accessibility, and body autonomy, it acknowledges the emotional toll of navigating this system. Participants will learn to make simple, affordable herbal remedies such as infusions, oils, and bath blends using calming and restorative plants like oatstraw, lemon balm, and chamomile. The intention is not only to provide practical tools for nervous system support, but also to reclaim connection with the body and nurture emotional resilience.

For

A workshop for people, carers, or loved ones of folks who are recipients of PIP or are going through an assessment. This is for neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill folks seeking non-clinical tools for nervous system care. Anyone curious about herbalism as a form of self- and community-care. No prior experience with herbs is necessary. This workshop invites all into a space of collective care and healing. By demystifying herbalism and centering lived experience, we make plant-based care accessible, affirming, and an act of resistance.
