This workshop will focus on the use of movement as a form of magick to support the recovery from domestic abuse.
We will go through a series of exercises, visualisations and energy techniques together, with adjustments, pauses, repetitions and seated options given throughout. Exercises such as shielding or pulling will use our hands and intention to cultivate protection and disperse residue attachments that no longer serve us. Led from a background in dance and spirituality, the focus of this workshop is to develop a practical use of magick that can be called upon whenever needed. With the understanding that domestic abuse can alter our worldview and relationships, these movements are designed to cultivate safety within ourselves, to call in protection and release trapped emotions.
