Anti-violence activists, authors of Radical Accountability in a Messed up World, Hosts of Disobedient Survivors Podcast and co-founders of SLEEC, Bryony Ball and Meggan Baker have spent years working on the frontline, and in deep in the trenches of male violence and rape culture.
Bringing the real experiences of directly dismantling misogyny and the manosphere and caring for those impacted, they explore the messy, the difficult and the ridiculous.
Driven by a desire to question and disrupt what is harming us and to cherish radical care, Meggan and Bryony speak with the kind of direct rawness, curiosity and humour needed to hold space for these complex conversions. As survivors of rape and male violence themselves, they speak to the deep need to centre lived-experience in these conversations.
They have spoken at a diverse range of platforms from panelists at events and festivals, contributing to news features on the BBC and ITV, speaking on podcasts such as The Guilty Feminist, as well as at demonstrations, seminars and conferences.
Having worked as educators, curators, and in accountability and crisis intervention work their expertise centres; male violence, radical accountability, harm, rape culture, masculinities, fighting and healing from patriarchy, dreaming and building collective care spaces, disrupting gender binaries and stereotypes, survivorship, mutual aid, dismantling harmful structures and solidarity and liberation work.
