One of our core aims is to unpack the complex issues around rape and sexual violence, rape culture, male violence and the impact of misogyny
SLEEC provides a wide range of training and consultancy to organisations, media platforms, institutions, support services and individuals to feel more equipped in dealing with these issues, gaining wider knowledge on these subjects and being more confident in managing any related situations.
Our work is directly informed by SLEEC’s large network of survivors from all over the U.K. and our previous work within the violence against women sector; from working within the U.K. anti-slavery partnership, working as independent advisors to the police and working within safe houses, crisis centres and survivor support services.
Our training and expertise has been developed from extensive work within all different areas of male violence, crisis work and survivor/women’s safety. This includes project management, service development and delivery, frontline case work, trauma work, campaigns and multi-agency working. We are entirely survivor-led and survivor informed which we see as essential in education on these issues.
We have offered consultancy and training to a diverse range of clients from award winning advertising agencies such as The&Partnership, welfare services (such as award winning and longest running events welfare organisation TTK Welfare), counsellors, support services, creative directors, media organisations, government advisors and activist groups.
Our support is compassion-based, explorative and solution focused.
We have basic training packages, tailored training and different consultancy options to meet your needs. We offer both online or in person.
